You should be glad to know that there are many things that you may legally say and do on the Internet.  But maybe you are not so glad, that there are many other things that you are not allowed to say and do on the Internet.  The best way to define what these things are is to take a closer look at the Internet laws.  Look at the various Internet laws and determine what the boundaries are.  See what each Internet law legally permits you to do.  Then take a deeper look to see what each Internet law prevents you from doing.  On the average, Internet law violations seem to be quite costly so it is recommended that you avoid defiance at all cost.

1.  One of the Internet laws that you should be advised of is the Internet law of Pornography.  Whether you frequent these pornographic websites in your spare time, like to post pornographic images, or have a small child that you want to keep away from these sites, you should learn about Pornography Internet law.  One of the key components to Pornography Internet law is that there is a distinction between Pornography and Obscenity.  The Internet law states that any instances of Obscenity will be punished.  To sum it up, Obscenity as defined by Internet law is sexual activity that is displayed in an offensive manner, and has no literary value whatsoever.  This is one of the Internet laws that has several layers to it.  This is probably because it is one of the Internet laws that is constantly working to improve to confront any and all issues that pertain to the matter.  This Internet law goes on to say that unless the shield is blocked off, there should be a disclaimer that states that the site that the consumer is about to enter features adult content.  The goal of these Internet laws is to prevent exposure to any explicit content.  Also, all browsers are automatically set to not list these types of websites in your search engine searches, unless otherwise permitted.

2.  Another one of the Internet laws that you should be aware of is the Commercial Speech Internet law.  This is one of the Internet laws that monitors what the commercial businesses have the right to say or do.  You should pay close attention to the commercial Internet laws as well because these Internet laws are instrumental in monitoring what it is that is put out there for you to consume.  The Commercial Speech Internet law says that commercial entities do not have the right to solicit you with any advertisements that contain messages that are knowingly false and misleading.  In certain states, the Commercial Speech Internet law goes on to say that no one is allowed to send mass unsolicited e-mail mailings to people who have not otherwise requested this attempt at advertising.
